Need a 16x20 sample print - which is your fave? (several photos) - 02-13-2011, 10:40 PM

I'm doing a silent auction donation next weekend of a session and 16x20 print, so I wanted to do a sample enlargement of a student who attends the school hosting the auction. Which is your fave? (I may end up with a 16x24; a few of these just don't look as good when cropped to a 4x5 ratio.)

Disclaimer: most of these have just minimal LR edits, so please look at expression and composition more than the pp. The final image will of course get the full treatment in PS (and a few of these have already been thru PS). Thanks for looking...

The last one is my pick as well, I really like it, but the dress strap turned under is a distraction that I would not want on a show piece. My future clients might think that I don't pay enough attention to details.

Thanks for all the replies. I like #10 too but I didn't see it being the fave on here!

You're right Joe - the twisted strap is a problem - I mentioned it would be fixed in post. :)

2 5 10

depending on how much work is necessary...lol...I say that because I don't think I'd feel comfortable with trying to fix the strap and it looking good, it's something that I'd have to fix before I took the photo myself, and if I missed it I'd kick myself ;)...you of course might be much betterin PS than me lol

No Richard I'm not great at PS for this kind of stuff - but I've discovered retouchup.com, which will fix this strap, and any other problem in the photo (including a full facial retouch) for $5. When I use them I do all of my own edits (including face, eyes, etc.) and leave the removal of objects, head swapping, etc. to them. Well worth the time and agony I would save if I tried to do it myself. :) I've sent them two images to work on so far and they've both been great, and returned in a few hours.
