Critique: CC:

Every time this band comes to town I have to go see them, and I suggest you should too if you are a fan of southern classic rock with a mix of soul in it.

You can say this was my frist concert shoot with my Rebel XT. Actually the headlining band did not allow detachable cameras so I had to sneak this one in (thanks to my good looking lady friend ) I had my 50mm 1.8 and was shooting around 400-1600 ISO depending on the lighting. I chose not to move around the crowd incase security told me I had to leave because of my camera, so I played it safe.

P.S This is my first CC forum, so I had a question. Is it OK for me to simply give a link to the Flickr set or do I have to attach 3 pictures onto the post?

Thanks for your time!

3 pictures are required because it gives a decent spread to get an idea of how the overall shoot went.

On the image above: Good color, framing leaves a lot to be desired. He's facing the right so he should be on the left side of your shot so that the dead space doesn't feel so blatant. Also, due to the wide angle of your shot, chopping the bottom of the guitar off bothers me.

Keep shooting, concerts are lots of fun. I think that I would do more if there weren't so many restrictions on how much you get to shoot.

Thanks for the feedback! Here is the original shot and you'll see that there was some guy's head blocking the bottom of the guitar so I decided to crop the head out.

About the framing, does the rule of "facing right, frame left" vise versa, always apply for a better overall picture?
