Critique: CC:

I had a quick little session with one of my reps to photograph her Prom dress and letter jacket and then we just played around a bit and here is one I was working on..its one Im not sure if I like it or not....so I just played and went way out of what I normally do with processing,having fun..

thank for looking guys...

I see TONS of, what I would do next time stiff...but here ya go..have fun :)

You know I am a huge fan of your work...right? 90% of the time your photos, composition, and post processing make me go WOW! Not so much with this one.

- The first thing I notice are the dark portions of her skin look 'dirty'. Were you going for a grunge look?

- The skin tones on her face do not match the skin tones on the rest of her body.


I look forward to see how you progress through this new growth.

yep sonny I agree with all of that...!!

I used Topaz Plug in I JUST got this afternoon and have no clue how to play with it right..

so yep I agree thats the part I couldnt get right...and really wasnt going for anything just playing, I may still with my orginal processing..if I end up using the image, still indecided :)

love the composition, the expression! looks like her head is floating in the air... not sure how you posed her to get that. I like.

The first one gives a more yervant's look - a little painting like quality, although sometimes the effect (topaz) intensify the shadow (area) definition which works great in sky or landscape images, but looks a little unnatural on people's skin tone.

thanks guys...she was laying down and I was above her on a stool...this image was actually horizontal when I took it but ( with advice from someone else) I turned it vertical...
