Radiopopper Promo shoot with Kevin King - 02-26-2008, 01:09 AM

While we have Kevin here at the San Diego workshop, we went up to the roof of a Harley Davidson shop. Originally we wanted to go up to the parking garage across the street which is 5 levels up right next to the SD Airport. That's the highest elevation point you could possibly go to where the inbound planes fly by. But the FAA kinda frowned on it.

The one thing I wanted to do with the shoot is to demo the Radiopopper in the condition I love to shoot in. Harsh sunlight, open aperture, and high speed sync. Here are a couple shots taken in that condition. Something hard to do with just e-TTL, especially with the sun coming into the IR sensor.

What am I missing here? How does the Popper work with the ST-E2? Do they connect together? How?

I think thats all it needs... is to sit atop of the st-e2.

I know the receivers have a fiber optic cable that has to be ran to the IR sensor portion of the slave Flashes.. i dont think the transmitter has the same.

I'm at work at the moment, so I haven't even watched this clip, but it's supposed to show how to install the new P1.
