At-home family session - 06-01-2011, 09:28 AM

Critique: NC:

I love it when families want to do their family sessions at their homes. It lends such a personalized feel to their images. Met with this family last night for their viewing/ordering session and we both came away very happy. :) I will say that from now on, I am bringing an assistant to family sessions with babies and preschoolers!

I didn't ask for CC mostly because I wanted to post more than three. But comments are always welcome and if you see something that could be improved please don't hesitate to mention it.

Very nice shots. Really captures feeling. My ONLY nit would be maybe expose the house in the first 1/2 - 1 stop more. Seems too dark to me on this monitor.

Thanks for the comments y'all...

Kim, I got a bunch of dreamy ones of the kiddos with dad...some sweet ones of mom and baby too but the 3 year old had hit his limit after all the family shots, haha...

Keith, I'll try lightening the vignette a bit later, I've noticed I do tend to get a bit heavy-handed with the vignette sometimes. :)

Jusselin, I agree, by itself #7 is not particularly meaningful, but it is really nice in an album spread with a few other images of dad and baby. :)
