That's a great shot. I could imagine it in a magazine about Texas or ranchers or somewhere along those lines. Very nice.

Nice photo. Did that bird also fly in the moment you took it ... or did you merge 2 photos.

I like the pose and the composition, but something looks unnatural. Hard to tell what it is on a small pic, maybe the color of the sky? not sure.

The bird is added from another shot in my archives, yes.

This has a pair of off camera flashes on camera left to light the face and 5pm sunlight from camera right. Dropped the exposure a little to get the sky and the flashes fill in the rest.

Actually the horizon is straight... what you're seeing that's playing tricks on you is a hill beyond that rises slightly from left to right. If you look just below that line, you can see the part he is standing on is flat and level.
