Your friend doesn't seem comfortable in front of the camera. Her facial expressions and smiles in the first two images seem forced and unnatural.
#1
- The shadows on her face are dark and sharp. Your light source was too low and far away. Next time try to bring your flash/strobe in very close (about 3-5 feet away) and about 6-8 feet high. This will soften the shadows and give a move natural look as if you were mimicking the sun.
- Also watch for the bright & shiny spots on her forehead and right cheek.
- The two bracelets high on her forearms are distracting.
#2
- Her face is a tad overexposed and the hair on her high should is very messy.
- Also watch for small details like the cover to her zipper open and the white lining to her right pant pocket sticking out.
- Because I cannot see her other arm is gives the illusion she is missing one.
#3
- Again with her hair. It's too close to her eye which is creating a unflattering sharp shadow.
- The hair also looks as though it's coming out of her armpit from above the shoulder and behind her back.
- The grass coming up out from the board near her right hand is distracting.
- The highlights on top of her pant legs is blown out.
Overall I think you've done a decent job balancing the harsh sun and your flash/strobes.
