Love #5! Beautiful as always.

Those are really beautiful! You captured their eyes so perfectly, especially the mom. She's gorgeous!

Beautiful portraits! #11 and #12 seem weaker than the rest in my opinion.

Thanks, Paco! They specifically asked for number 12, but I agree. I was just trying to do something different with them for number 11 since this was a family shoot. Still learning how to do family stuff lol.

Thanks, Phanee!

Lol, nope, only used it part of the time. I'm starting to like the 70-200 and my 85 lol. Unfortunately, I sold my 70-200 b/c I didn't get along with that lens. Now, I'm regretting it LOL!

Fantastic shots! Great series and I love the sharpness of the photos! Which 85 are you using?

Thanks, Trey! I actually used the 70-200 for a lot of these. On others, I used the 85 1.8 and my 24-105 f4.

Great series. I often get to see portrait shots and can always notice some sort of tense feeling in the shots. Probably not the right word Im looking for...

But in yours all the shots look quite relaxed and even the kids seem quite relaxed around the camera. You've done well.

Wow, thank you, Geoff! That makes me feel good since I don't shoot families very often because I don't know how to pose them or make them feel relaxed. I approach my family shoots like my others, letting them know ahead of time that I am really all about the candid moments. With this shoot, it was a 3 hr, $1000 shoot, so I was a bit worried about what I would do with them for 3 hrs. She didn't get any good photos from her wedding, so she contacted me to try to get some images to make up for that of the two of them, plus some of the family.

Ill do you one better, I had a customer that had her wedding shot in film... the photographer posted the negs to a place in Perth... and they got lost in the mail. This was about 3 years ago so even in this backward country digital cameras were in and so was registered post lol....

Ever seen a pissed off bride... I have

I envy anyone that can do portrait work or weddings, its something I really struggle at. Keep it up!!
