Critique: CC:

The first time in 3 years I've been allowed to share and this is the only one allowed out until after her hubby gets his book for Christmas. ;)

Not sure why it say No critique...don't know how to change that but I'm always open for feedback;)

To change the no critique, click edit post, then click go advanced. The NC is a drop down menu at the top, and just select CC instead.

As for the picture, I really like it, and I'm sure her husband will be getting a great gift this year. Really like this angle, it's not one I've seen often.

Great!

Minor specular highlights on the nose and underneath the eye could be touched up.

I love the composition. I think I would do just a little bit of skin smoothing because I think the B&W conversion and the closeness makes her freckled skin look a bit more splotchy than it probably really is (just speculating). You sure nailed the focus!

REALLY like the angle of the shot and point of focus. Would you mind sharing the shot data (lens, f-stop, etc)?

Not at all! Shot with a canon 5D and Sigma 50mm 2.8 macro lens(my fave lens and that says alot since I've had L glass), ISO 100 f5.6 1/250

That Sigma macro really shines here.
