Working on upping the quality of my work. If you have a second, I'd really like to hear what you guys have to say about my image, especially any and all thoughts on how best to improve.

Adrian, these are just my opinion(s)....
the hand appearing out of nowhere is odd
the tilt has me tilting my head

Lighting looks good thought a bit hot on her forehead and cheek

I agree with Ken's comments, but I like the look you are going for. The other thing I don't like about the hand is that it reminds me of a British salute. The backwards hand I usually associate with the dramatic swoon of the Victorian age (obviously it would have to go with a more dramatic facial and body pose).

Also, the background is rather busy, but she is separated nicely, so it isn't as distracting as I would have imagined. However, I'm not a fan of the can light that is still in the top of the photo. Love the contrast of the lighting with the warm background.

Noted Ken. I'll work on those next time I shoot.

Cheers Audrey. Yeah I had the same feeling regarding her hand gesture resembling a British salute. haha. Probably I should have selected another image. Oh well.

The the background I shot in was the entrance to the studio here in Conroe. Will keep all your other pointers in mind.
