Hey guys, did this shoot with my high school friend Lizzy, and wanted to practice shooting into the sun. I don't think I did too well with it, but that's what practice is for. Your thoughts on where I could improve would be really appreciated. Thanks!

I agree, really like the first one. Very good lighting and love the reflection in the stone. However, I think the second two could use some fill light, and I don't like the random part of her hand in the last one.

Thanks Audii, the last two right off the camera came out with like a haze through out the whole picture. I did some PP in LR and added quite a bit of Fill Light i believe...This is what I meant by trying to practice shooting into the sun.

Yes, the hand on the third is distracting.

I think the fill light could have been achieved with a simple reflector (if you don't have one even white poster board can be used). Since she's lying on the ground, you might find a way to place it on the ground as well to reflect some sunlight back up into her face. I don't think your attempt was a complete failure by any stretch, and I think the poses and facial expressions are quite good. Definitely keep practicing!

I don't know how I never thought of a reflector...maybe because I don't have one yet! Thanks
