Yep, I always shoot RAW. Will try to bring the exposure down on the hallway and blend them in PS, but this may be a job for retouchup.com. :) Stay tuned...

I like the first one very much (and much better than the second one). If I'd want to find something to nit-pick, I'd recommend to turn down the blacks a little bit or lower the contrast just a tad.
