What do you guys think ... did I execute it pretty nicely.
Had another photog friend come by to take my photo, while I was helping him learn more of camera lighting.
Decided to create this for my front page of my website.
Thoughts ... thanks.

I like it, but I noticed YOU last (was that your intention?)
I gotta say - that girl in the fireman's pants is HAWT (in a non-homosexual way) Move her to the right side, so you will be near the focus.
If you took one photo off, and left the far right side of the banner white, you wouldn't blend in. Unless blending was your intent.

@ Jim - Thanks.
@ Mel - Yes, I actually wanted to blend in the photo some. My intent was to have the focus on the photos more than me in the photo. My vision was a photo wall that I was just staring at. Kinda like reflecting on your work after all is said and done.
Thanks for the feedback.

Agree with Melanie, the concept is good but it needs a little more separation between you and the wall.

What do you think Andre ... should I de-focus myself a bit? I did add a bit of shadow from my ... but didn't want to make it a hard shadow with plenty of opacity, because that would give the illusion that I am super close to the wall.

I noticed the shadow on second view.
What I would do is this. I would understand the whole image more like "You sitting in front of a gallery wall." I would downsize the pictures slightly and position them at the wall not overlapping each other with the picture to the right ending at about half of your body. Not sure if you know what I mean. This would open up the whole product a little more giving it more space and making it less crowded and more classy IMO.

I like Andre's idea, but you need to execute it so it looks like a gallery and not five photos in a row.

I like the fact that you're farther away from the photos, but, personally, I like the random heights of the photos in the first one. I just seems to heave more energy.
If I were to choose between the first and second one, I'd still go with the first one. But that just my opinion. It's a good concept.

IMO you are much more visible now compared to the first one. I would still make the pictures smaller and give it a lttle more distance in between.

Raymond,
Perhaps I don't know what your intention is, but when I saw the first one, my attention was drawn first to the photos, then to you; which was a pleasant surprise. If you want to highlight you a little more, then I'd go with second one.

Not trying to be mean, but as a Graphic Designer, here are some CC's:
The logo in the top left should have more separation from the top and left edges of the frame. Logo's need to exist in space, otherwise the leading lines drop off the edges.
The secondary/headline name and title need more separation on the right (more away from your leg) and a little from the bottom. Again, give them room to exist in space.
The lighting on you (high right and rim left) doesn't match the implied lighting of the faux gallery (gradient implies light center and low). The drop shadow off your body is on the wrong side of the lighting.
Gallery images aren't usually placed so close together, typically you'd allow quite a bit of separation between them for viewing purposes. Their proximity causes a lot of extra motion for the eye. Also, the left-to-right margins are vastly different, but do not feel intentional.
Finally, do you normally wear your sling strap on the opposite side like that? It seems weird, having to reach across your body to get access to your camera.
