I'm No Baby Photographer - 11-19-2011, 02:38 PM

Critique: CC:

But seriously, I don't think anyone could make a poor photograph of this young lady and her mother. BTW, the mom, Sara R, posed for me back in 2010. See more of her in my Pbase page here (warning lingerie photos in the group).

Yeah, taking a bad photo of those two would take effort and planning. Nicely done.

Thanks for the comments. Sara really is a very attractive woman and Sophia was such a good baby. She hardly fussed at all and really had some great expressions. Only the second baby I've photographed. Both were children of models I had photographed in the past.

One more just because I can't get enough of Sophia's expressions. Priceless!

Scott, I am very green when it comes to this type of Photography, but I agree with Keith, I dont think you could take a bad portrait of these two.
Really like the last one. Great expression on the baby and a super pose by both. Love the catch light in the eyes of both. Skin tones look spot on. Good stuff, man

I wouldn't call it luck. You have enough knowledge from shooting fashion stuff that you are able to adapt that knowledge to a new subject. You adapted it well in this case.
