Critique: CC:

After a long dry spell I decided to dust off the camera and do some shooting today :)

Let me know what you think CC is welcome :)

Here is some Pics of my Mother-In-Law and soon to be Father-In-law

Strobe info; 1 sony flash high camera Left 1/4 power in 16" softbox and 1 Sony flash behind pointing at waterfall 1/2 power bare wide
Camera info; ISO400 50mm f/2.8 1/125sec

What were they looking at in #2?

Looks good craig. You really need a second flash to give them a little rim light and separate them from the background.

Of the two pics, I prefer #1. 2 has too many distractions in it....big bow, red thing at 3 o'clock, etc. The shadows also make it look like his head has been cut and pasted into the scene. My 1 1/2 cents worth.

Thanks, I was actually telling my wife that I need a 3rd one during the shoot just for that. I already have 2 and was using both of them in the pictures one on the background and one in front in a 16" softbox.
