Hey guys...
Yeah I've been gone for awhile. I miss y'all. Ive been so focused on getting my website redone, and getting back out shooting live music and rehoming some of my older work to my new standards I have been really absent. I hope to come back and offer my critiques on stuff that I have missed, and lay myself out for your help to get better.
Anyway, here is probably one of my more favorite images, its of my mother while I visited her in VA for a funeral. Its the first picture she's ever liked of herself, and I constantly come back to this picture as I get better at post.
I think Ive gotten it about as good as I am going to get with my skill set at the moment, and I am looking to see what anyone else may be able to pick out, before I have it printed for my wall.
The one thing I hate with it is the lens flare, which I don't quite mind, but I wouldn't mind if it went away. Obviously not annoyed with it enough to even attempt removal.
So... lemme have it.
this was shot with the kit lens, my 580 II optically triggered cam left with, I think a 1/4 CTO gel. Ive tried to find a decent balance between having her upright, and having the horizon level.
