Critique: NC:

Something fun I did for myself at the end of the portrait session. Her mom helped me weave some of the craziness into her hair. I wanted to add a texture on the image but I really like how clean her skin is so I left it.

Definitely dig it. I also like the clean smooth skin.

But also wondering what your vision was with the texture ...

I like the first one better. The texture looks like smoke and the circular part of it is distracting on her face.

Ha, I was thinking a fabric weave pattern would be interesting, but you're right, there are way too many textures to think about adding. Plus, I see what you mean about her flawless skin, and it's a beautiful picture on its own. I think what I don't like about the texture you chose is how much white is added to the photo, and you lose a lot of the vibrancy of the colors.
