Winter's here

I haven't posted in awhile - up to my ears in orders, it's been a fantastic November. :) Here are a few from last Saturday. It was a winter-themed shoot. The "snow" shot didn't come out quite like I wanted - the snow was fine, but it was a bit bothersome to the boy, so I didn't get the expression I was after. Oh well. :) Comments welcome!

1. This is my favorite from the session. Pity it's not in focus. :) (Parents love the smiley ones, I love the contemplative ones.)




2. My second favorite. And in focus.



3. The best of the snow shots. (For some reason the color looks flatter and cooler on Flickr than it does in LR and PS - haven't had that issue before, not sure why)

Parents wouldn't know a good photograph if it bit them on the butt.

All three are wonderful shots but 1and 3 are my favorites.

Sure we do...we write checks for the "good" ones and not those that other photographers like...

But it only matters if you are in business.

I love the colors and the expression in #1. That is what sells it for me!
