Thank you!! I found the logo on Etsy for a lot less than if I had one custom made. There are a bunch on there geared towards photography.

I had a regular light meter before and it was too complicated. The CyberCommander is used to meter the lights and provides a visual way to balance the Alien Bees strobes. For me, it is a much easier thing to wrap my head around.

The principles are exactly the same, whether one uses a regular light meter or a CyberCommander, but I agree that the CyberCommander's built-in meter and how it integrates with light control are really nice features.

The CyberCommander can be used a light meter, as well as a master control for all PCB lights. You can measure one light at at time, a pre-defined group of strobes, or all the lights. The meter reading will be auto updated when you change the light intensity for a single light, group of lights or all the lights. With a single light meter it takes more work.

I would love to have a cybercommander setup. I'm such a visual person it would be perfect for me. Maybe some day.

I meter each light individually, then adjust the overall combined light level to match with the aperture I would like to shoot with. The ratios stay where I want them. It is such a nice little device. There may be a better way but it works for me.
