This is a discussion on I love Friday nights... within the People forums, part of the Showcase category; This one was shot in a dungeon with the ambient being about 1/30, f1.8 and ISO 6400, so I stuck ...

Critique: NC:

This one was shot in a dungeon with the ambient being about 1/30, f1.8 and ISO 6400, so I stuck a flash on a stand in a corner and bounced it off the ceiling to give me the most coverage I could get in the bar with just one flash. This one turned out pretty well I think for a quick and easy setup

This was available light, I only shot it just to see HOW bad off I would be using ambient only, turns out, pretty darn bad off!! lol

Thanks, it was at Main Street Station in La Porte, it's actually an old gas station that has been converted into a bar, the main area where my buddy was playing used to be the 2 car garage/repair shop.
