Good shots and a handsome boy! Here are just a few things that might help a bit.

1. There is quite a bit of noise so you might have tried a lower iso since you had the flash. In post you can use a noise reduction software.

2. You might have him lower his left foot a tad so there isn't such a sharp bend in his leg. The general rule is to avoid 90 degree bends in arms and legs.

3. This is hard because you were probably limited on what you had but a light source between your son and the background would help to seperate him from the dark background. Especially with his dark shirt and hair.

Overall it's a good set and your son looks very comfortable in front of the camera. Take advantage of it while you can!

I was a bit scared since they didnt look as good when I was previewing them on the camera lcd... but after some PS I was very pleased with the results
1st time I take pictures this late outside I wanted to captured some of the background and it was almost pitch black outside... no lights out there besides the flash on the camera
1. I wanted to captured the background too so I raised the iso
2. got it.. didnt know that one
3. yeah I know the shirt being black doesnt help the plan was to take pict earlier but in-laws invited us to go out to eat last minute, and we could not refused // Free dinning

Thanks
