Shelby Lynne at Gruene Hall - 01-29-2012, 10:18 PM

Critique: NC:

I was supposed to be shooting basketball Saturday night, but Rhonda had tickets to see Shelby Lynne in Gruene. Shelby made a much better subject for the 70-200, although her jump shot could probably use some work. ;) This frame had a lot of negative space, but I kinda liked it.

I really like it too, the b&w really works here. Thanks for sharing!

I like too. Was the neck of the guitar cut off in post of just obscured? I would have loved to see it violate the negative space.

Hmm, it might have been obscured by a fan, but I'm not certain.

Interesting the way that worked out with the neck. Very cool shot. I also dig the negative space. Makes you wonder who she is playing for.

Beautiful shot, Troy! Yeah, I'm sure a fan's head blocked the guitar neck. All of my shots seem to be from the knees up. Oh wells.
