Ha, Adrian, click edit and then go advanced. You can then edit the drop down menu.

I'm actually not a huge fan of this photos. The picture is dominated by a blurry background (the shirt is ~2/3 of the photo). The subject right at the 1/3 mark, and so I think the composition works, but the background just isn't blurry enough to not draw my attention. I think either a shorter depth of field or better separation from the background would have worked better. (Have your kid grow longer arms )

I like the concept of this, but I just don't really know where to look right now.

Audrey, I agree - - you do not know where to look. However, if you crop it square by bringing the left side in, then what remains of the fuzzy stripes actually points to the main subject, focusing your attention there, and the fact that the shirt is so prominent diminishes.

Ok. I see what you guys mean now. Thanks everyone. Yeah I should have probably used a different lens, since this was shot with a 24-105 f/4. So I don't think f/4 doesn't give a pleasing depth of field in this shot.

Nice edit @Sonny. Now only the crop, but the b+w conversion makes the image stronger methinks.

I'll go bang my head on a wall now. Brb :P

Thank you Adrian. My reason for converting the image to B&W was taking the focus off the bright colors in the shirt. Don't hit your head too hard. As photogs, this is how we learn.
