Here are a few I did for my Sister-In-Law. She went to her high school prom and asked for some pics of her. Equipment: Nikon D50. Some of the photos have been touched up using PSE 4.0. Not bad at all. I'm assuming that you were in a dark room with the on camera flash? Not bad exposures with that set up. 2, 3, 4, 8, and 9 need some different cropping. The subject's face is usually not the best positioned in the center of the frame. Try cropping more on the top and leaving more on the bottom. Moving them to one side or the other can be effective too. Follow your own example in images 5 and 7. Great cropping there (except for possibly cutting off her hand in 5). Keep up the good work. |
