Shot this at Monday's performance in Laredo by members of the Orquesta Sinfonica Infantil de Mexico. Excellent group of musicians. Will be performaning in Forth Worth on Thursday, Oct., 26. |

I like the composition--that triangular shape draws the eye down to the conductor. It looks like you were shooting at a very high ISO and then cropped the picture down some... the noise is rather visible in the shadows. Also, there's a black bar on the left edge; was that just an extremely sharp light fall-off, or something else? |

Daniel, Thanks for the comments on the composition. I was shooting at over 1000 ISO with the Canon 1D and the Sigma 120-300 2.8 zoom lens. The black bar on the left side is the stage curtain. I decided to leave it in the frame rather than having a tight crop on the players. |
