Family Session - Photog Traffic Jam - 10-29-2006, 09:54 PM

I shot a wonderful family today. We went to three locations starting about 2:30pm. I had forgotten about the Frisco location until I read a thread here earlier in the week.

When we got there I was shocked to see 5 other "pro's" at the same location. After we shot another 3 photogs showed up with families. It was kinda funny.

Well here you go, let me know what you think.

The shots in the "trees" were all used with the 70-200mm, 1D Mark IIn and a large reflector, no flash.

cute pics looks like you were having a great time. you should clone the reflector hot spot out of the tree in pic number 2 and i LOVE the fact the baby has a big smile on her face in the last one. nice job!

Thanks,

The spot was actually the sun but I see what you mean.

This was a great location for shooting during the bright light of the day. There were enough holes to get good light from a reflector and enough shade to no get things blown out.

Looks like you had a great afternoon. They all work for me with the exception of #3, Kinda makes me squint when I look at it.

I'm really curious where these were taken, I've never been any place like that that I can remember in Dallas!

I really like number 1. Number 2 also seems very natural.

I like 5, 6, and 7 the most out of the set. Good stuff, taygull!

These were taken in McKinney and Frisco.

The forest shots were taken at the McKinney Community Center on 75 just north of Eldorado. The rock and Willow Tree were taken at a park just north of Gaylord and Parkwood.

You can see the rest of the series on my website.

Great job on all. Getting the baby to smile on the last one makes it my favorite.

All of them are very good, but I love #5. If that were a picture of my son and me, I'd print and frame it.
