A lot of firsts for this post. I shot a little over 270 shots, experimenting with the light placement, placement, poses, etc. I got two that I kinda liked. Any C&C would be appreciated.

I totally blew the first 120 or so. Bad lighting, bad lens, and I had the WB set to flourescent instead of custom since they are one button push away from each other. I should have picked it up off of the LCD but I didn't. I shot over half with a lens I really don't like now, and then threw on the 50 f1.8. I should have shot the whole thing with that. The results certainly made my mind up to get the Nikon 17-55 as a X-mas present for myself.

They are both to my liking. I would crop some off the right side on the second photo.

She is absolutely beautiful. I had to do a double-take at the first one, however. I almost feel that the shot would be better if she did not have that (whatever it is) under her chin.

You need to show us more of her. She's easy to look at.

Thanks for the input everyone. I might be doing another shoot with her in two weeks. She wants to, I want to, but the next one we've discussed is outdoors so we'll need a break in the cold.
