Dance portraits
This is a discussion on Dance portraits within the People forums, part of the Showcase category; I recently shot a local dance group. Beautiful little girls in beautiful costumes makes photography much easier....

They're a great opportunity for photos, Steve. If you get the chance, the time to catch the kids is during the FOL performances on stage at the civic center in November. i like the first one best. I think maybe because of the colors and the textures of the dress and the fan. something about the way she's holding her hands in the second seems uncomfortable and fidgety.
