I like the pictures over all. She is a pretty girl and you did a good job of capturing that but, there are a couple things I find distracting.

1. The piercing bothers me. I tend to want to focus in on it.

2. The tattoos and I have nothing against them. I have one but, her outfits IMO show them off and distract from the over all picture unless that is what you were going for. I would have had her wear something that would cover them up a little more.

Otherwise - good job.

I agree that the pictures overall are good. I also agree that the piercing is distracting, but my personal opinion is that I don't like them on the face. As far as the tattoos go, I like them. I just think that the she should show them without cutting them off, like the birds. I would have chosen outfits that she could single out one or two to focus on.

That's some good advice to pass on to the models, especially with something like spring-themed birds in this setting.

I agree with those that find piercings and tats distracting, and I fail to understand their appeal unless done in moderation (not the case here!).

They are a part of the model, however, and the TFCD work that I do that needs to only satisfy me and them (vs. having a paying client with specific needs).

I think it's nice to see a girl that has some character. I'm a fan of tats and piercings, they're a form of self expression, much like our photography. I don't find them distracting at all, but more that they add to the image and make it more unique. Especially in a world of flawless skin, professional makeup, and plastic poses... great model but in the second and third one, I would like to see the crop not cut her off at the elbows...

My kinda girl. I like the pictures alot. The piercing doesn't bother me so much as her choice of stuf to put in it. It's pretty reflective, maybe she could get a less shiny one next time.
