I have not played with the Alien Bee's in a while so I busted one out the other night and shot for about 5 minutes.
The other pics are snap shots from the front yard when it rained the other day.

And why else would one post other than just goofing around. Nice shots all, but I really like the effects on the last one!

Thanks for all the kind words everybody!

That last one I was trying for the "found in an old shoe box in the attic" look.
After shooting it with about $3500 worth of gear and software I'm thinking there has to be a cheaper way to get that look......

I'm gonna be the odd man out, but I think the third one is pure art. Really, really good.

Third one, definitely! Wish the tree was off to the side a bit and not growing out of his head, but it's still great! Very "in"!

I think it's supposed to look like that. You know, like a peacock. At least that's the way I perceive it.

Thanks for the comments y'all!

Leslie, the tree out of the head was kind of intentional but I see what your saying.
I'm surprised no one said anything about the cropped fingers in the 2nd pic. That bugs the crap out of me!
Here are a few more with Connor in them. He in to Star Wars right now...
