Was anyone shooting at the Fort Worth Boat Club yesterday (Sun.) afternoon at about 4-5 pm? There was a photo shoot going on and I was just curious if anyone from here was shooting it yesterday.

I'm a member of FWBC. Don't know of a photo shoot there yesterday, but that's not unusual.

Was it a bridal, or photos of boats , etc. ???

It looked like some sort of Senior picture session or some sort of little glamour shoot. I was just curious!
I am a member out there also. Do you race or sail very often? I am out there every Sunday, I crew on a J105.

I am one of the lowly power boaters who get zilch respect....
I would sail , but I don't like the two hours of preparation and the two hours of "cleaning up" ....

I understand the dread of the prep and the clean up. It is fun though, I sail a catamaran also and there is nothing quite as fun as going that fast on the water with nothing but the wind powering me along.
How often are you out at the club?

Right now, only once a month for dinner.
With my boathouse now over at Harbor One, and my battery fried, I don't need to get to the club much.
Cats are fun, especially the smaller ones. I chartered several times in the Caribbean and prefer to take out a cat, albeit a larger size (50').
