Well, not your typical swimsuit shot, but we were talking about eyes and I decided to try a "panorama" of Allie's eyes.

The resulting JPEG file is made up of four separate photos merged together. It is 6606 pixels by 1815, resulting in a print that would be 22 inches wide by 6 inches tall at 300 dpi!

So...there you have it. My first post from today's swimwear shoot is pretty darn far from swimwear!

Very nice! How on earth do you stitch together multiple photos of a person? I can see it on a landscape, but not with a model standing there in such a pose! Great job.

Don't know...I just shot the four frames and hoped for the best!

When conversting from RAW, I jotted down all the settings and applied them to each of the photos. I liked the way it turned out and may try some more in the future. I've always wanted to do a "full length" body shot in this mode. I used to love the old Natasja Kinsky photo shot by Richard Avedon (I think that's who shot it) and would love to do something like that in a "panorama"!

The only thing I did was instead of rotating the camera, I shifted myself over slightly. I told her I had no idea if it would turn out good. I heaven't heard from her yet, but I think she'll be happy.

I'd love to hear from the other panorama shooters to see how they'd approach something like this.

Did you just say "darn"? You are starting to lose your NY roots my friend! Nice job on the stitching.
