Talking workers in the street & shops of Istanbul - 06-30-2007, 03:35 AM


Infact, workers mostly waiting for work to get to them... keeping busy with other things, or just resting and waiting there for the nexy (?) customer.

- hat shop


- the barber


- forniture seller


- water seller


- the barber, 2


- at the grocery's


- doorway cleaning


- road workers


- the exterminator


All with the Leica M8 and the Zeiss 25mm f2.8 & 35mm f2 Biogon, cross-developed in PSCS2. C&C as always are very welcome!

Some pretty nice pics. How long are you gonna stay in Turkey for? I'm in Adana.

I like the saturation and color effect. It looks like early in the work day, no business yet.

I think you take some GREAT interesting pictures!
Like Casper said, nice saturation and color effect!

Hey Ismael, thank you for your comment - I live in Istanbul since 2000 and teach at Mimar Sinan University, so for the moment being, if nothing happens, I think I will be staying for a while how long will you be in Adana, and - if I may ask - what are you busy with there? How do you like it?

Hey Steve, thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed - actually, it wasn't too early in the day (sometimes around 10-11 a.m.) but it was a very hot day so not many people were around... thanks again!
