I keep saying this is a great place to be. Thanks to all who offered to assit me this past weekend. The Pastor made it back in time so I was able to shoot. Ladydiva was a big help and discovered that she knew the bride. she also gave me some unique shooting angles that I will make sure I use. I had a thought though, I've noticed that a lot of people have been asking to attend and assist in weddings to gain experience and several of you have assisted MyKey so if anyone is interested, I'll post the rest of my summer weddings and if you want to attend to shoot, let me know

To anyone who is thinking about assisting...DO IT!! You have a great time but realize how bloody boring a wedding is by yourself. :) Great experience with posing/workflow/technique and interaction with the customers. Great images for your portfolio. I've assisted twice, and I would have paid for the experience gladly.

Assisting is the best way to learn if you like shooting weddings and if you do how the business of wedding photography works. You can shoot with zero or near zero pressure and build a porfolio at the same time. If any of you are interested it is a worth wild way to spend your afternoon, especially if you want or even thinking about getting into wedding photography.

I personally can not thank the people who have helped me out over the last 2 months, a couple of wild wedding months which have now come to an end. While you guys did help out with some of the grunt work, you also got some amazing photos which not only helpped me and the clients out but more importantly to me, getting a quaility porfolio started. Thank you all again!
