oh and it hasn't been cropped so there won't be as much dead space up top

Even when the top is cropped... there is still something about the composition that I am not quite sure about... maybe a tighter crop would help???

Also as far as processing... maybe work on the shadows made by the hats...

hope that helps =)

Thanks Jessica how would you suggest this?
Normally I don't have shadows like this but this was one of those test shots that I was doing when my flash lights screwed up my camera and I was trying other ways to make them fire :D
Open to all suggestions.
Oh and I liked a different one dh liked this one

It could take some time to get the shodows out of the image... so I probably woulnt worry about it unless you are giving it to a client or something... I was just looking for anything I could see =)

The wrinkled background might not be too bad if it wasn't for the fold-over on the left.

As far as the shadows go... a light on the right would balance out things better... but would probably add to the shadows from the hats... maybe drop the existing light on the left to reduce, or aim it down to the floor to get a bounce up from the ground.

but now that I look at the original ?? about CS3... maybe seeing original vs. current would help feedback in the processing vs. the lighting...

I am assuming you are just asking about post processing here and not the shot itself (composition, crop, lighting, DOF, etc).

I agree that we'd have to see the original to answer anything about the processing.

ok well don't worry about it like I said it was one that I shot just to make sure that the lights were finally working I didn't really care how they were sitting etc... So not the shot itself wasn't in question :D
Thanks anyway
