Most amazing B/W photo ever! - 06-28-2005, 07:53 PM

sorry to go over board but I am so amazed by what was done to my photo.

I took the photo but Juancho aka Xposure Photo did the conversion and sharpening. I am just speachless (sort of I cussed up a storm when I saw it) thanks Juancho! You are my hero now.

This was my lame ass try at making this photo good.

BTW sorry about the size I just now realized that I was putting in 800 on the height instead of 600 when I was resizing.

WOW, definite improvement

I didn't like the tonal ranges on your first conversion, but didn't think it had this much potential.

I sent you the net ready version, for some reason your resized version took a redish tone...are you using PS? I also sent you the new version with a bit more editing, not much just to see which one you liked...they are named the same with the "net" ant the end so you will know which one is which, also sent you the B&W versions as well.

You may want to post the original so they can really see the improvement.

For some reason I could not upload anything.

Can you please share how you did this? I haven't seen any instructions anywhere. Or maybe it is in another thread & I missed it...

Excellent job at B/W. Really looks good!!

Sorry for the late response, I never keep up with what I do when it comes to extreme edits, but as far as the B&W Conversions I use the gradient Map and chose the B&W and throw sonce contrast
