Well, it was only my second try a people shots and even the ones I like have a "but" to them so none will be going in the portfolio! Thats ok, I just need more experience. and that was what I was looking for.

Brad what kind of light did we use for the lowkey shots?

That's great, Janice.... just practice, practice, practice.... that alone will do wonders for improving anyone's skills.

I think the low key shots were all done with my Alien Bees Ringlight.. the ABR800 if you are looking it up on their website.

Here's a few more of Erin that I liked. Some have Jonathan in them. I didn't get any of just him by himself though

Like Janice, I really don't do much in Photoshop. :)

If you would have had a sword with you, you could have done a "Lady of the Lake" shot from the King Arthur legends

"Listen...strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony. "

"Be quiet!"

"Well you can't expect to wield supreme executive power just 'cause some watery tart threw a sword at you!"

I was just remembering the movie "Excalibur" from my childhood where the "Lady" was laying just under the surface (I believe in a dress) and holding the sword out of the water. I wish I could find a picture.
