Robbie Seay Band / Jill Paquette - 2006 - 09-13-2007, 05:46 PM

These were taken during the fall tour in 2006. I was the touring sound engineer, but there were a couple of dates where the churches we played at had a good in-house system & engineer and didn't need me. These were the dates when I was given the chance to do something I'd NEVER done before - Take photos. Seriously, the keyboardist had a Canon EOS that he literally handed to me and said, "Here. Just take some shots."

I had done a series of editing some of the photos back around the same time I took them, but about a month ago, I went back and looked through them displeased with the job I had done.

So, what I present to you is pretty much the only photography job I have ever done.

I'd say you did great! Good composition (rule of 3rds), different angles, color, emotion.......

Needs some noise reduction maybe (esp. on the 1st shot)........

I agree with Marco, your compositions look great!

Funny, Robbie's wife just contacted me to do some family portraits! I hope I can work her in soon :)

I like the music, and you captured many different looks at the experience. Concert pics look good with some kind of grain/noise/blur that you get with available light. I think you did well.
