Here are a few from the same concert that I posted here on the forum in this thread

http://www.texasphotoforum.com/forum...ad.php?t=60908

Would love to get your comments on either thread as I am trying to see if these images are UP TO PAR or not.

Anyway here are a few from the Concert.

Would love to know which one of these 2 you like better? The first is the original the second is with a Tiffen Filter plugin for Photoshop added to it.

Any and all comments are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

I'm not a concert shooter. I can only imagine the problems.
These are better than most of the concert photos I've seen on this forum.

WHY CAPT. Thank you VERRRY MUCH, actually the Venue here is ALOT Better than some of the Dives and Dungeons I shot in down in Texas but that doesn't mean Texas has bad places to shoot, I just didn't go to the right concerts

Thanks for looking and taking the time to comment.

Mel,
Thanks Very Much I appreciate the comments, I wished I could have spent more time photographing him and the Band, but by the time they got on stage it was about 11:00 and I unfortunately had to go to work the next morning @ 6 a.m. or I would have stayed and gotten more of Him and the Band but from the few songs and photos I did get I did like his Music, just maybe next time I will have to BITE the bullet and stay longer or take a (Cough Cough) sick day

Thanks again and glad you like the picks. Which of the last 2 d you think looks better?

I definitely don't know anything about concert photography, but I love these. My favorite are the first 3.

I like the stage look of the first... true to what I know their shows to look like.

And it's a shame you had to leave. Pat and the band are known for marathon sets! They hosted a 'jam' one night on the cruise that went from when their regular set began at 11ish until about 7am... my feet have never been so sore - but it was a night of music I will NEVER forget!

Pat McGee Band - check them out if you don't know them!

They look very good to me.. The first one is a bit soft on the face, but I think all in all very nicely composed and executed shots.
