Looks great to me, now tell us how you did it. Good job and pretty girl. Could you show us a version with a tad bit more contrast? I don't know if it would be any better than this, I'm just a fan of high contrast BW. :lol: |

I am also a fan of more contrasty stuff, but I think the softer look works very well for this shot. I just love it! |

lscottpht: Thanks for the compliment! :) dbphotos: I converted the original image to lab color, and made an inverse selection of the lightness channel, converted to grayscale, then converted to RGB. I then added a little color and contrast via curves. I got this method from another board. If I'm not mistaken, it is based on the great Greg Gorman's method. Elsaspet: It's funny you mention it...I actually really like high contrast b&w, but this image seemed to work with this treatment more. --------------------------- -- Collins |
