The photos in this are amazingly moving. I can't comment on the technical aspects of them. I don't know enough. I don't really care either in this case. They aren't meant for perfection. They're meant to touch you and they do that well.

Great tribute, Leo. Everyone should see this. Most have no idea the service these guys and ladies perform for us on a daily basis. What a blessing to us they are. I make it a point to support, recognize and thank them wherever I meet them.

Thanks for posting the link!

I've seen it numberous times, and I watch it all the way through everytime. My brother served for four years, served three tours over seas, and was lucky enough to make it home in one piece. A few of his buddies not so lucky. And he misses it. He has toyed with the idea of going back and re-enlisting.

I know if he does, he'll be doing something he loves and feels strongly about. And I'm proud of what he has done already, and may possibly do in the future. But the selfish part of me is glad he's home for a while.

Its difficult to watch them leave, especially when they've made it safely home from previous tours, even though its an incredibly honorable service they do. But he does what men do. When our loved ones and our homeland are at risk we do what is necessary to protect them. If others took the time to realize what is at stake, as he obviously does, and what our soldiers risk to protect us, I feel there would be much more respect for our military in this country once again. Thank God for the brave and willing men and women of our country.

Be sure to thank him for us all. Whether they know it or not, they carry many requests for their safety from us who know the power of prayer, along with them on each mission, as well as many blessings for the jobs they've already done.
