The curse of photogenic kids

I say "curse," but it's really awesome. Other than my own technical failings, it's really hard to take anything but a good photo of my sons. Here's a couple shots of my oldest, who will start kindergarten next month.

Thanks, everyone! He's a great model, and when in the mood is willing to try all kinds of things for the camera. I'm hoping to do a few planned portraits to capture him as he is before starting school.

All at f/4 (was using a 17-40 f/4). I prefer my 85 f/1.8 for portraits because of its creamy bokeh wide open or nearly wide open, but I was shooting specific photos of the kitchen cabinets to see about having some work done. That's when he wandered into the kitchen to act silly!
