My cousin asked me if i would shoot her daughter Avalon's 4th birthday party. I figured it would make a good practice session for birthday parties... and Avalon has always been so good about letting "Aunt Minda" (technically we're cusions.. but thats what she calls me) taking her pictures as practice.
It was at a really neat place called
Oogles-n-Googles. They provided everything from invitations and thank you cards, the cake and favors, they ran the games and scavenger hunt, had a storeytime and dancing. If you have small kids and don't want your house wrecked having a party for 15 4-y/o's (and it was $320 for the first 12 kids.. so not a bad price and they have other themes than princess)
My present to her is going to be a book made fromt he photos. I have the .pdf proof up
HERE for my cuz to see.. but just a warning if you go out to look at it - it's 53mb...
1)Princess Avalon on her throne
2) And yes - a true princess.. all the way down to her socks!
3) They got some princess glitter
4) and 6 flavors of gloss to choose from (she had a hard time deciding)
5) It's not a party in Texas without the chicken dance!
6) blowing out the candles...
7) decorating her princess crown
8) ok - so she's only 4... she can spell her name... just sometimes she does it backwards.
9) and again on her throne...
