The research that I've done found that while most publications want a release, it's more of a preference rather than a requirement. Not to condone using images unlawfully, but like I mentioned before, so long as you're not using that person's image to advertise a product, you're ok. .

Francis, great images, and excellent black and white interpretations!

I like them all, but #6 and #7 are my favorites! No particular reason, I just like the story-telling.
