TriCoast Seniors 2009 - Lots of Photos - 04-05-2009, 10:38 PM

Well it has been like forever since we posted here and on so many other forums we used to visit regularly. Since speaking on a national level, traveling around the world shooting weddings, our wireless flash TTL workshops, AND continuing to grow and build our local studio and market we simply do not have the time to post online anymore.

So here are a few 2009 High School Senior Portraits (some which I have already posted so sorry for the repost). We are shooting 2-5 seniors a day right now and will be throughout the entire month so I should in time have a lot more to show you in the coming weeks.

It has been interesting learning to shoot for the client to make a business and not just for us as we did more in the wedding world. All in all it is about 75% for the client and 25% for TriCoast and our passion for the art. All in all though the new backdrops mixed in with learning a new aspect of the BUSINESS of photography has been fun. Full time from Part time there is a difference in the way you MUST shoot and I have really learned that over the last few years and loving every second of the way!

Claire played the lead in Disney's High School Musical so we made the most of it in her session

OK I have about another 20 more sessions I could post but I think that is WAY too many for one thread already.

Your Claire from High School Musical looks just like the girl they cast here in Ft. Worth for that role.....not the same name. I photographed them for local
media coverage.

Boy, am I glad I'm not in high school anymore. It was bad enough competing with the "beautiful people" back then....and no one looked like this when I was in high school.

Seriously, it's amazing how different everyone's shots look. Just shows how much getting to know your subject really makes a difference in bringing out their personality and beauty.

Thank you for noticing, that is our MAIN GOAL when shooting seniors, to truly "Tell Their Story" and get to know them so we can blend our art with their wants and needs. To me it is MUCH MORE of a challenge capturing art this way, it pushes us each and every session to make it unique - different - special to each senior!

Again thank you for noticing!
