Exclamation Posing Conflict for 5 people Need help - 05-21-2009, 09:18 AM

I will be doing a shoot for a cover of a family magazine that I have shot for before. This time there is a little more of a conflict. I will be posing 5 people.
3 teenaged sisters, their mom and their Orthadontist.

The picture used for the cover will have to be in Portrait Orientation and have some space on a side for all the info that would be on the cover....

I have some ideas of how I will be posing them, but would like any more input if there is someone that has any to give! This will be done in a studio setting, under lights with a backdrop.

I would like to have a little bit of variety to choose from for the picture that gets used, but I seem to have a block in my brain. I am confident I will "figure it out" when it comes to crunch time... but I just dont want to blow it!

If anyone has any ideas they can throw out to me I would really appreciate it.

I attached a sample of the last cover to give an idea....
Thanks much-
Kim

Could it be done in the Doc's office? One kid in the orthodontist's chair with the camera at the base of the chair (toward kid's feet shooting up), Doc on the right side. Mom on the left side. Shorter kid in front of Mom and tallest kid on a rolling short stool in front of short kid (or maybe in front of Doc). Not sure if you could get your lights, etc. in the office and be able to isolate any distracting stuff, but maybe worth a trip to Doc's office to check out???

You might snap a funny one with Mom handing the Doc a handful of money. Doc might not like that one though...

Patti
