How can I fix this? - 06-20-2009, 11:26 AM

I was outside shooting this sword tip and scabbard this morning. When I downloaded the images, I noticed the red tint on the bottom of the blade. I do have a red metal posts near by, but I thought I was far enough away. Guess not!

I sure there is a way to remove this, BUT I do not know how! Can anyone offer tips/instructions on how to correct it?

I hope I posted this in the right section!

Sure. Selectively desaturate the reds from that area of the image.

I'd recommend selectively desaturating the reds from that area.

Just sounds so cool to say that....

The funny thing is, after reading Daniel's post, I remember reading the same information in another post on this site. I just forgot! Hate it when that happens.

David I have CS2. I followed Daniel's advice and fixed the original. I'm not all that excited about this image. I mainly wanted info on getting the red out. Sounds like a Visine commercial. Thanks for the tip though.

It's a sword, using it to get the red out could seriously damage your eye!

I don't think there's a cut off date established.
We are limiting the classes to ten students, but if you want to attend, I can probably convince the class administration (me) to get you in.

I've just signed a mother and daughter modeling team for that class. They will be dressing in vintage clothes...
