Read that report early on Michael. My folder view options don't state the exact wording as they have it but it says "Enable Web content in folders" which I have checked.

Wellllllllll LOL you could always restore to a point before you updated. :(
I've exhausted all the options I can think to be the root cause. I've never really messed with 2k, I'll call a friend of mine back in VA this weekend, if I remember correctly he is MS certified or works with someone that is. Sorry I couldn't get you set right.

Don't give up. It is fixable because I used to have the problem. And fixed it. It has just been too long now since I used W2k. I did a little searching but can't find anything that jogs my memory. It does seem like it might have been a registry repair that I did, but it seems more like I did it in wordpad and saved it. I'll keep trying to remember too. Keep the faith Baby...as they say, you'll get it fixed!

Here's a free image browser I use which I like very much:

I got hold of that friend who works for IT services. His answer was about what I expected. He basically said if changing that entry in your registry did not do it then you should restore to a back up before you patched. Install patches one at a time until you get the one that messes up your images. Write down which patch it is and submit an email to MS Support then they can give you which entries need to be changed post patch. I'm guessing you are like me and all the other typical computer owners...don't make backups to a dvd. So I would still write to MS support and tell them you tried their suggestions they have posted and heck add all the other stuff you have tried to date.

Thanks again. I'm typical in the computer back-up dept. Responded to Microsoft where it says "did this help" with a "it don't work"......LOL. Let them know all the recent updates and the effect caused at least to my system. I'd be very surprised to hear back but we'll see.
