PhotoShop CS 1 day class

IT will be on a weekend. that much is for sure. I am thinking the first or second weekend in Dec. How would that work?

Can you give an indication of the level you'd plan to pitch this at (techniques you plan on covering, etc)

Just an idea:

It seems that there is a lot of folks from DFW area, if enough people would commit to paying a little more, would it be possible to do the class up in the DFW area ? Our individual "expenses" for driving to Austin might be spent towards an airline ticket for you guys. Might not be able to have actual "hands on", but with a video projector connected to your laptop you can demonstrate/illustrate a lot of things. Might get a few more folks to attend as well.

just a random thought. I'm up for either way and pretty open for any dates.

I would think that more people would want the hands on. I am going to have a little book made up for sale 10-20 that will cover a lot of info so people could just order that.

I am hoping that i can work a deal for the room cost. However it's not looking good. I just found out that the school charges 350 for the first hour and 100 every hours after that. We are looking at 2k just for the room. I checked into the books and they are 50 no matter what. But Barbara is going to put together sections from 4 or 5 books and some of Barbara's own teachings to create a book that will be for sale after class for 10-15 just to cover printing.

It's looking better to do this in Jan the 14th or some time after that. Or we just might take it on the road and do it with a projector in dallas. I would like to have the hands on but for cost savings we just might pack up the nissan and head on up to Dallas.

I would love some feed back on this. I am tring to put this together so everyone will get the most out of it. For those that are wanting Painter we are putting together a class right now for the spring.

Normally Barbara charges 50 dollars an hour to teach. And she does a deal where you can bring your computer down and she will do a hands on with a small class of 6 or 10 people.

I was thinking of putting this class on at my house. I could put up 10 computers and people could work in groups.

I would be very interesting in coming to Austin for hands on. Video demo doesn't do much for my interest level. But those dates all look good to me.
