Hi everyone Iam new to this forum, what I have been reading it looks like a pretty good photography forum, but anyway I have a problem Iam trying to shrink down a picture to a 4 by 6 in photoshop cs with out cropping it, my picture size is width 20.8 inches by hight 13.867, I have tried everything I know but I keep croping out some of the picture, can anyone out there help.

You could always crop outside the picture, and just have a black or whatever color border around it, to get the full image in.

Holly is absolutely correct as usual.

because your original is not in the exact proportion of a 4X6, you will not be able to get a "full frame" representation of the original. You will have to crop it to 4X6 proportion using the cropping tool set to 4X6, or as Holly suggests, print it on a 4X6 with some white areas around the edge.

i tried those dimensions and it worked fine - just set your crop ratio to 2x3 or 4x6
